Jonathan Owens started to play for Missouri Western State University in the position of a defensive back. After finishing his redshirting career during the 2013 season. Owens began his MWSU career as a defensive back (Missouri Western State University). He got the MWSU Male Student-Athlete of the Year title in his final year of competition in 2017.
